We are currently recruiting for a Cost Controller to join our fantastic team. The purpose of this role is to provide the business with complete and accurate cost control data on a regular basis. Ideally you should have experience in an engineering and/or construction company environment dealing with multiple projects , you will have been involved in the financial, cost and contract control of engineering design, procurement of materials, equipment and services, manufacture, delivery and site implementation and construction.aspects. Key Duties

  • As required by the Project Controls Manager, attend internal and external project progress reviews.
  • Issue project cost reports in accordance with the requirements of the Project Manager and the Operating Procedures / Project Execution Plan, including internal and client reports, cash flow forecast, margin forecast and analysis, Manpower Projection Plan.
  • Crucially implementing/setting up and managing a change control program, proactively identifying variations to scope and execution strategy in order to optimise control and margin.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities e.g. by reviewing and updating work instructions and templates.
  • Overview of the client invoicing process.

 

Candidates should be qualified to at least ONC/HNC/HND level in a discipline relating to engineering, contract, quantity surveying or financial administration management, more importantly you'll have well developed communication skills and maybe some new ideas that challenge conventional logic.
