Job Information
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for hourly and salaried positions across various departments. This role collaborates with hiring managers, leverages recruitment strategies, and ensures we secure team members that align with Bobcat's core values and business objectives.
Role & Responsibility
General Duties
- Primary HR contact for employees.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Coordinate HR programs and processes such as compensation & benefits, talent acquisition, orientation, onboarding, training, and performance management.
- Handle employee relations issues and recommend appropriate actions.
- Stay updated on HR trends, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support across areas of HR Operations.
Talent Acquisition:
Full-Cycle Recruitment:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment activities, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring candidates for hourly and salaried roles.
Strategic Sourcing:
- Develop talent pipelines through a variety of sourcing channels, such as job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, industry events, and direct outreach.
Employer Branding:
- Represent Bobcat's brand to attract top talent by showcasing company culture, career growth opportunities, and values during recruitment activities.
Collaboration with Hiring Managers:
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand position requirements, develop job descriptions, and design tailored recruitment strategies specific to each role.
Candidate Experience:
- Ensure a seamless and positive experience for all candidates throughout the recruitment process, from application to onboarding.
Data Management:
- Maintain accurate talent acquisition records in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), ensuring compliance with company procedures and legal regulations.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Stay informed about relevant employment laws to ensure recruitment activities are compliant. Provide regular updates and reports to leadership regarding recruitment metrics and insights.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent related experience.
- 2-4 years of progressive HR experience
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information
- Proficiency in HRIS software and HR tools
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Travel: < 10%
