Job Information

The Supply Chain Manager - New Product Development will manage the process that creates all new products and all major upgrades to existing projects as it relates to Supply Chain related activities.

Role & Responsibility

Product Platform Strategy

Provide direction to engineering, sourcing and operations on component.
Process strategy improvement for New Product Development Projects.

New Product Development Process Excellence

Incorporate and execute all sourcing, engineering and operational strategies within the New Product Development system to optimize cost, quality and delivery metrics.
Create and provide timely updates with all major functional stakeholders.
Engage New Product Development team leads as required to support New Product Development project scope.
Successful SOP of all products utilizing Stage Gate requirements.
Support Supplier Development through DGSS process
Recommendation on Make vs. Buy per New Product Development Project.
Monitor balanced scorecard metrics for all New Product Development Projects.

Value Analysis

Conducting Value Analysis/Kaizens for cost reduction
Increase accountability and track ability of Value Analysis projects and activities.

Job Requirement

Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business Administration
Strong demonstrated influencing skills.
Strong demonstrated LSS knowledge required; BB preferred.
Microsoft Office and Project knowledge.
MRP/Oracle/SAP Knowledge
Diverse supply chain operational experience.
Project management experience.
Multi-plant/multi-product/multi-regional experience.
Experience Required: 7>10 years
Travel Required: 10-24%
