The Product Management Business Analyst is responsible for providing the analysis of descriptive and diagnostic internal and industry data to support Product Management’s ability to make strategic accurate decisions to drive market share, revenue and margin.  This position will drive the prioritization and creation of dashboards and reports for product management, strategy and development leading to better monitoring of performance, cost and other metrics to help Doosan meets its AOP targets.

Role & Responsibility

Dashboards & Reports Creation

  • Develop dashboards & reports in OBIEE and Salesforce to satisfy requests for business intelligence.
  • Create reports related to product strategy, management and development.  Become an expert at OBIEE and Salesforce report building.

Governance & Sustainment

  • Work with the OBIEE and Salesforce development teams to produce robust solutions.
  • Contribute to UAT processes on the business side Help drive requirements, validate data, test for system accuracy, and build reports in OBIEE.

Strategic Product Management Analytics

  • Develop comprehensive analytic models for pricing, competitive data, model gaps, product gaps, industry opportunity, telematics monitoring, digital product audits etc.. 
  • Drive the adoption by product management to leverage the information to maximize product roadmap, AOP and LRP revenue targets.

Job Requirement

  • Education Required: Bacherlor's degree in data science, computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics or equivalent. Masters preferred.
  • Experience Required: 2-5 year
  • Travel Required: <10%
  • Demonstrates the ability to analyze a large subset of data, develop visual communication models and provide recommended/summary conclusions. 
  • Prior experience in development teams of of web-based graphic user interfaces.
  • Strong communication skills required to present to groups, write clear reports, and conduct surveys.
  • Demonstrates advanced skills and capabilities in Excel.
  • Exhibits a working knowledge of all toolbars in PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with and creating data architectures to support business data reporting and modeling.
  • Experience with analytic techniques: probabilistic analysis, regression analysis, simulation modeling, timeseries forecasting, and hypothesis testing.
  • Experience with programing language with large data sets in exploratory data analysis.
  • Ability to break down complex problems into simple tasks and elegant solutions.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (ideally Python or R, SQL, or C++, JAVA, SAS).
  • Process mining and modeling experience (Disco) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in working in Salesforce and OBI preferred.
  • Any experience in the following is a plus - Machine Learning/AI, Tensor Flow, Cluster Analysis, Regression Analysis, Random Forrest Analysis, Decision Trees, and R-squared values, etc. to build linear forecasting models will other audience viewership and engagement data.
  • Prior data analysis experience is required.
  • At least one year of direct experience with Oracle Business Intelligence preferred.
