We are looking for the Accounting Compliance Manager with thorough knowledge of general accounting methods and principles (IFRS & U.S. GAAP) to join our corporate accounting department. Candidates for the Accounting Compliance Manager will review accounting processes and documentations within the NA Finance team and facilitate the remediation of any control gaps or inefficiencies. Also, this position identifies potential improvement area in key accounts, processes, and procedures across the NA Finance and executes the implementation.  The position is responsible for working with different business owners within the NA Finance on implementation, execution and compliance within the total entity level. This position will also assist in the development and implementation of various policies and procedures related to IFRS reporting compliance and will be assisting in meeting various quarterly and annual reporting requirements as needed. This is a team-based role which must work with a global culture of professional controllers and accountants.

Role & Responsibility

Compliance in Control and Accounting Process

  • Evaluate business control deficiencies (i.g. oversight on account reconciliation and the ERP process output) for impact and perform root cause analysis to determine appropriate management actions. Monitor management's remediation efforts to closure, including review of supporting evidence. Drive and support the Business owner’s remediation activities
  • Lead benchmarking and other initiatives to improve controls, make processes more efficient, effective, and/or reduce cycle time for the efficient accounting process.
  • Assess new processes and supporting applications along with changes to existing processes to identify financial and operational risks before launch, providing recommendations for improvement
  • Maintain documentation and evidence of successful internal control execution on a timely basis


  • Assist in preparation of quarterly reporting packages and annual audited report  
  • Assist in the coordination of annual audit and quarterly review activities of external auditors
  • Evaluate the potential accounting error area and coordinate the best practice in cross functional review process by reviewing the estimate assumption, complex accounting calculation and any flaws in accounting process flow for the NA Finance team  

Job Requirement

  • Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration 
  • Experience Required: 5-7 years 
  • Travel Required: 25% 
  • Public Accounting Experience required (Big 4 firm experiences plus) 
  • CPA certification required 
  • Proficiency in either IFRS or U.S. GAAP is required 
  • Proficiency in ERP system: ORACLE or SAP 
  • Experience in cash flow statement preparation preferred 
  • Background in a manufacturing environment preferred 
  • Able to think clearly and reach well founded conclusions and  
  • Ability to articulate ideas crisply and concisely  
  • Able to work under tight timelines and re-prioritize work as needed
