The Marketing Resource Manager is a strategic leader responsible for driving the long-term optimization of creative production workflows, resources, and vendor partnerships to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness. Leading a team, this role oversees the end-to-end creative production process, including the strategic management of external creative agencies, freelancers, and production vendors. By implementing streamlined workflows and robust performance monitoring, the Marketing Resource Manager ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This role is also accountable for leading quarterly business reviews with agencies and vendors, leveraging data-driven insights to assess performance, drive continuous improvement, and align external partners with Bobcat's strategic goals. Through proactive planning and resource management, the Marketing Resource Manager empowers the marketing team to operate efficiently, delivering impactful creative work that supports long-term business success.
Role & Responsibility
Agency Resource Management
- Develop and implement long-term strategies for managing external creative agencies, freelancers, and production vendors, ensuring alignment with Bobcat’s brand vision and business goals.
- Establish processes that empower the marketing team to drive efficiency, enhance collaboration, and deliver high-quality creative assets across all business units.
- Strategically oversee a multi-million-dollar budget across creative agencies and production partners, ensuring cost optimization through rigorous management of service-level agreements, rate cards, and vendor performance. Proactively drive financial efficiency and resource allocation to maximize impact without compromising quality.
- Lead the continuous evaluation and optimization of agency performance, leveraging data-driven insights to establish KPIs, score agency effectiveness, and conduct quarterly business reviews. Use these insights to make strategic recommendations, strengthen partnerships, and drive long-term value for the organization.
- Develop and execute RFP processes for creative agency selection, identifying strategic partners that align with Bobcat’s evolving business objectives and ensuring cost-effective, high-impact creative solutions.
- Design and implement processes to monitor and optimize project timelines, creative workflows, and resource utilization, using performance data to identify trends, drive continuous improvement, and enable the marketing team to deliver work more efficiently.
Creative Production Oversight
- Champion long-term cost-efficiency strategies in creative production, identifying innovative opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce redundancies, and maximize ROI while maintaining the highest creative quality standards.
- Coordinate the end-to-end production process for creative assets, including video, graphic design, and copywriting.
- Central point of contact for creative production inquiries, approvals, and feedback loops.
- Maintain a centralized production calendar to track deadlines, resource availability, and deliverable milestones.
- Proactively identify and address potential resource bottlenecks or conflicts and use resource management tools to efficiently allocate and monitor project assignments.
- Implement standardized workflows for creative production and resource management.
- Continuously refine processes to improve collaboration, reduce inefficiencies, and maintain high standards.
- Management of creative production team members and leadership of photo/video asset capture, equipment logistics and other duties as assigned.
- Management of project management team members and leadership of project management function and processes.
- Management of Bobcat’s outsourced Studio Creative Production team.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Creative Arts, Business Administration or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in resource management, vendor or agency management, creative production coordination or marketing-related roles.
- 1-3 years of experience in team leadership or supervisory role.
- Proven track record in managing complex creative projects across multiple teams or agencies, demonstrating exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects, deadlines, and shifting priorities
- Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- Proficiency in project and resource management tools (e.g., Wrike, Monday.com, Workfront).
- Strong understanding of creative production workflows, including video, design, and copywriting processes.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adjust strategies quickly in response to changing project requirements and market conditions.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to cultivate a collaborative work environment that promotes open communication and effective cooperation among diverse teams.
- Strong analytical skills to identify problems, evaluate options, and develop effective solutions in resource management and creative production.
- Travel: 5%
