This position is responsible for enhancing and evolving Doosan Bobcat’s brand presence across North America, fostering a positive perception of the brand. It involves leading initiatives to communicate the Doosan Bobcat value proposition to existing audiences while identifying and engaging new, diverse customer segments. The role includes developing and executing a strategic vision for experiential marketing and events, creating memorable, high-impact brand experiences. Ensuring the consistent and effective delivery of these experiences across all touchpoints and phases of the marketing strategy is a key component of the responsibilities.

Role & Responsibility

Experiential Marketing

  • Enhance Doosan Bobcat’s brand visibility through consumer activations, partnerships, sponsorships and activities, expanding new and existing channels.
  • Develop and lead the strategic direction of experiential marketing initiatives, ensuring consistent brand expression at every touchpoint.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and management of marquee marketing and dealer events, as well as the North American tradeshow program.
  • Act as the strategic lead for events; facilitate strategy and experience discussions with key executive stakeholders and external partners.
  • Conduct proactive and ongoing research to identify successful experiential marketing opportunities to align to our expanding consumer and target audiences and business goals.
  • Build and manage strong vendor partnerships, optimizing opportunities and best practices found in the experiential industry.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive event budgets with real-time tracking and reporting of actuals versus forecasts.

Brand Protection and Development

  • Ensure development of brand-focused materials that successfully communicate the Doosan Bobcat brand pillars, attributes, and promise.
  • Manage and evolve brand style standards and guidelines; oversee agency reviews to ensure consistency and relevancy in the marketplace.
  • Develop business cases for event funding and budget allocation.

Job Requirement

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or related major. Associate’s Degree and equivalent experience will  considered.
  • Experience: 7+ years in experiential marketing, brand management, or related roles, with proven success in managing large-scale events (500+ attendees) and high-impact brand campaigns.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across departments and with external partners to develop and execute cohesive brand strategies and experiential initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in budget development, expense forecasting, vendor negotiations, and ensuring cost-effective event execution.
  • Proven expertise in elevating brand awareness and recognition within competitive markets through various marketing channels.
  • Confident in public representation, including media interactions, video interviews, and events, to positively convey the brand image.
  • Experience leading high-performing teams, setting clear goals, fostering accountability, and managing performance.
  • Skilled in developing, presenting, and securing buy-in for marketing strategies and business cases at the executive level.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, track, and complete multiple complex projects proactively and independently.
  • Capable of resolving problems diplomatically with sound judgment, in real time.
  • Travel: up to 20% travel domestic and abroad.
