This position is responsible for managing Internal Communications on a regional and global basis. The Communication Manager will lead content development and corporate message delivery to ensure all internal communications support and align with the company’s vision and strategies, and to preserve the unique culture while addressing the critical communication needs of the geographically dispersed organization. This role is responsible for managing digital and print communication channels to provide clear, timely communications to all stakeholders in support of building corporate culture and employee engagement. This position is focused on developing content for internal communication platforms for employee communication, and managing channels including intranet, enterprise social media, digital signage, events and meetings, electronic and print-based materials and video. The key to the overall success for this role is the individual’s ability to create strong partnerships with leaders and employees throughout the organization.

Role & Responsibility

Project Management

  • Lead, manage and develop various internal communication plans, projects and processes collaborating with appropriate functions and stakeholders.

Internal Communications Planning and Execution

  • Own internal communication efforts including content planning, writing, editing, and graphic design for high quality communications for all internal corporate audiences that successfully communicate company goals and employee experience.
  • Ensure consistency of messaging globally, individual alignment with corporate strategy, and culture building through communications.
  • Lead communication and graphical support to company for employee audiences.
  • Maintain awareness and proficiency in current trends, technology, editorial policy and internal communications practices.

Building Employee Engagement and Culture

  • Drive the company’s cultural integration efforts helping to motivate employees and drive their excitement regarding Doosan Bobcat and ownership in the business goals through excellent communications and graphics.

Brand Management

  • Lead the management and execution of brand standards for Doosan Bobcat and the appropriate affiliates.
  • Partner with public and dealer facing communication partners across the company for collaborative communication and brand efforts.

Internal Communication Channel Management 

  • Drive the internal communication strategy to advance DB mission and vision and culture.
  • Develop and manage multi-way communications channels from both a content and graphical perspective.
  • Determine meaningful metrics and use analytics for successful content decisions.
  • Manage the global intranet platform as well as manage content planning and execution for all regional company communication channels.

 

Job Requirement

  • Education Required: Bachelor's degree
  • Experience Required: 7-10 years
  • Travel Required: <10%
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to quickly create content and graphics in multiple styles for print or digital media, including articles, newsletters, video scripts, interviews, memorandums and more
  • Superior graphic design skills. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and other graphic design software
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Understanding of intranet strategy and technology tools focused on communications
  • Ability to use MS Office proficiently
  • Social networking and communications technology familiarity
  • Global mindset
  • Experience in managing multiple communication channels, content planning, creative/graphical designing and writing internal communication messages for multiple media
  • Assisted in aligning organizational culture/people with business strategy via communications in large organization or multi-national company
  • Ability to articulate organizational direction to multiple audiences leveraging diverse communications platforms
