The Business Analytics team is responsible for driving operational efficiencies, refining data processes, and fostering collaboration across teams to achieve organizational objectives. Team members will conduct in-depth analysis to support evolving business needs, ensure data is appropriately validated and reporting is completed accurately and efficiently to support the business unit’s strategic decision making and goal achievement. Proper documentation of processes, methodologies and findings in order to maintain data transparency and support future decision-making is required.
The Business Analyst I will assist in gathering and validating data from a variety of internal and external sources and creating reports and presentations to be utilized by internal and/or external key stakeholders.
Role & Responsibility
- Complete accurate, timely and informative analysis of internal and external data to provide insight and the ability to create meaningful strategies.
- Verify the integrity of data, identify any discrepancies or errors, and ensure that the master data aligns with the standards and is relevant.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to provide insight for investigation(s) of operational gaps/opportunities and to support rapidly changing business environments.
- Manage 3rd-party data assets and serve as a liaison for industry reporting.
- Utilize available and relevant reports and datasets to produce regular and routine industry & Bobcat performance analytics and forecasts, based on quantitative & qualitative analysis.
- Provide a set of business intelligence (e.g., macro indicators, competitive dynamics, VOC) to support industry forecasts
- Manage data input for key reporting assets such as field accounts and territories
- Engage and collaborate across teams to promote adoption and continual improvement of analytics and data solutions, promote best practices and initiatives, and identify new opportunities in support of business analytics and divisional strategies and objectives.
- Assist in maintaining and reviewing functionality within the systems and other process technology tools.
Job Requirement
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business Analytics, Administration or Management, Information Technology or Computer Science, or other related field
- Related experience: 0>4 years
- Travel: <10%
- High degree of math and statistical skills/understanding
- Experience with relational data management and reporting tools, such as Power BI
- SAP, Oracle experience preferred
- High degree of fluency in Microsoft Suite applications, including system reporting tools, and experience with Power Automate or SharePoint.
- Must have a high level of motivation and demonstrated ability to work independently
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills
