Job Information

As a Warranty Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for evaluating the Warranty and Recovery business operations to understand gaps and opportunities. You will build internal networks globally to develop effective processes and realize our efficiencies within Bobcat Company.

Role & Responsibility

  • Lead problem solving activities to improve policy and/or process to increase internal operating efficiencies, improve validity and recovery of claim expense or increase ease of dealer claim input and/or quality of information.
  • Communicate directly with Information Technology Team through oral and written presentation to assist in implementing system changes or new requirements to enable business growth.
  • Develop, execute, and sustain a Warranty and Recovery Claim Audit process to determine opportunities within current claim processing.
  • Collaborate with other operational departments to create and maintain essential warranty and recovery reporting as required by the business to accomplish clear transparency of warranty and recovery costs and opportunities. 
  • Communicate and assist Bobcat Warranty and Field Teams and Bobcat Dealer Network with warranty policy and audit questions.
  • Communication of report data to stakeholders (internal and external). 
  • Assist in the development of training documents by collaborating with Warranty Team on policy and procedure changes.
  • Review dealer submitted warranty claims for adherence to policy and fair reimbursement (as needed).

Job Requirement

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related technical field 
  • Experience: 5>7 years
  • Travel: 10-15%
  • Fluency in MS Office Suite (strong proficiency with Excel and/or PowerBI required).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Warranty Processing or Systems is recommended.
  • Effective verbal & written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization and planning skills.
  • Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification Preferred.
