Job Information

As a Service Technical Communications Coordinator, you will collaborate with internal staff to identify high value service-related content for Bobcat dealers and create appropriate communications to inform the audience of the relevant details. Examples include: new product features, product changes, department policy changes, emerging product issues, and product recalls. Communications may involve formal technical bulletins, dealer portal web content, or e-mail announcements.

Role & Responsibility

Announcements to Dealers:

  • Create and publish announcement content for dealers through dealer update emails and dealer portal web content
  • Support meetings and collaborate to identify emerging bulletin subjects and build project files
  • Write and publish service bulletins to dealers and notices to owners having critical completion timeline

Service News to Dealers:

  • Create and publish service focused news content for Bobcat dealers on new products, changes to products, policies and processes, and other topics related to the service of Bobcat products
  • Coordinate with Product Service Managers and Parts and Sales to optimize company communications for assigned projects

Process Support for Bobcat Company:

  • Collaborate with service staff and other department staff to evolve and improve work processes
  • Promote process change within service and assist in identifying and developing process and process tools
  • Create and maintain process standards and work instructions for Service Communications to maintain ISO compliance

Job Requirement

  • Education Required: Bachelor's Degree - Technical or Communications
    • Mechanical experience in lieu of degree accepted.
  • Experience Required: 2>5 years
  • Travel Required: <15%
  • Strong mechanical aptitude required
    • General technical knowledge of construction, automotive, military or similar equipment
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills required
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills required
  • Experience creating written communication beneficial
  • Knowledge of Bobcat products is beneficial
