Job Information


The Regional Sales Executive position directly engages with prospective customers within a defined geographic territory in order to communicate the value proposition of HyAxiom fuel cell technology and drive revenue growth for the company. This position is focused on building a strong relationship with target customers to develop and close sales of the HyAxiom PureCell® Model 400 product. This position will be responsible for managing the direct purchase / PPA sales program in order to develop strong client relationships through effective communications in all aspects of the sale process including initiation, contract negotiation and closing. As the HyAxiom product portfolio expands, the Regional Sales Executive will assist with market entry by leveraging existing and new customer relationships.  HyAxiom is looking for sales team members to represent the organization with our core values of people, sustainability, innovation and integrity.

Role & Responsibility


  • Generate leads and work to identify prospective customers for HyAxiom’s PureCell® Model 400 product
  • Make regular contact with prospective customers in order to effectively communicate HyAxiom’ value proposition and work to cultivate a business relationship
  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
  • Proactively listen and seek to understand customer requirements as they impact HyAxiom’s product designs
  • Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends and market activities
  • Ensure the highest quality and innovative approaches for RFP responses to maximize win rates

Role & Responsibility (continued)


  • Prepare and deliver targeted presentations on products and services
  • Represent HyAxiom at industry events and with regional stakeholder groups
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing individual and organizational goals as needed
  • Manage all aspects of the sales process from initial contact to sales closing
  • Travel within the assigned territory for in-person customer and stakeholder meetings

Knowledge & Experience


  • Sales experience with energy products or projects
  • Experience working directly or indirectly with firms involved in the specification, design and execution of clean tech or renewable energy projects
  • Knowledge of distributed generation and/or combined heat and power (CHP) applications
  • Understanding of various go-to-market models including equipment sales, EPC, and PPA
  • Dynamic communication abilities; persuasive and energetic
  • Demonstrated business acumen with ability to articulate value statements in meaningful ways to a diverse group of audiences and stakeholders
  • Sales, marketing and strategic planning knowledge, skills and leadership
  • Engagement with cross-functional groups, including management to develop strategic sales programs




  • BA/BS degree with 10+ years of experience
  • MA/MS/MBA degree with 7+ years of experience



This position offers possibility of remote work

  • Candidate could reside elsewhere within the East region (New York, Philadelphia, Boston, Charlotte, Atlanta)
