Working within a fast-paced Recruitment environment your remit will include;

•    Verification of identity documentation in line with guidelines
•    Accurate recording identity documentation into system ensuring capture of all relevant information/dates
•    Ensure completion of Disclosure applications to minimum standards set by Disclosure & Barring Service and Disclosure Scotland
•    Liaise with external bodies obtaining employment references to meet guidelines set by ONR/Government
•    Liaise with applicants to ascertain the correct information to populate a valid security clearance application
•    Continually assessing each application to determine requirements to cover history 
•    Sourcing information to verify companies using various tools
•    Act as point of contact for all vetting validity queries using the information available to make judgement call on validity
•    Act as point of contact for applicant throughout the duration of application providing guidance and support as required
•    Dealing with incoming telephone calls, enquiries, and requests
•    Handling and prioritising all vetting related e-mails and post
•    Direct liaison with external suppliers and key strategic partners
•    General Business Unit administration and maintaining systems
•    Providing support function to other senior members of Business Unit as required

•    Excellent computer skills including word & excel
•    Being able to organise and prioritise workload in order to achieve targets
•    Managing highly confidential information appropriately and with discretion
•    Working on own initiative and without supervision
•    Professional telephone manner to be able to screen enquiries and requests


Ideally you will be NVQ level 2/3 qualified, however applications are welcome from those who have gained strong admin experience within fast paced office environments.
