Job Information

The Parts Strategy Manager develops, sets up, and implements Doosan Parts’ short, mid, and long-term business direction and strategy through data reporting and analysis. Additionally, the successful candidate will drive key parts sales & marketing activities to further develop the Doosan brand and increase Doosan Parts revenue within the dealer network.

Role & Responsibility

Sales analysis    

  • Review and analyze sales/ revenue versus target. 
  • Establish strategies to reconcile the difference between sales results & sales targets. 
  • Work cross-functionally to set up & execute the reconciliation plans.

Strategy

  • Actively set up and execute short, mid & long term plans.
  • Lead & execute key projects/ marketing/ sales activities that will lead to additional revenue in the Doosan parts business.
  • Develop new business models to increase revenue including products and processes.

Data management, Reporting, and Analysis

  • Run regular reporting cadence and align these reports with overall team goals/ objectives. 
  • Analyze reporting data, and create recommended next steps for business opportunities and improvements.
  • Manage the customer master for dealer performance reporting and metrics.  

Marketing/ Sales Activities

  • Develop overall marketing & sales plan/ schedule/ activities and execute them on time, with quality, and within budget.
  • Coordinate with related teams to advance the activities.
  • Lead communication schedule and leverage appropriate channels for effective messaging.

Program coordination

  • Create overall sales program plans and execute; to include OEM and aftermarket programs.
  •  Measure the effectiveness of programs and recommend adjustments for improved future impact.
     

Job Requirement

  • Education and Background: Bachelor's Degree in business-related field or equivalent.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of business reporting and data analysis
  • Previous product and manufacturing industry knowledge a plus
  • Business/ Sales capability 
  • Understanding of complex, matrixed organizations
  • Project management experience
  • Experience with analysis of large sets of data, advanced projects/ promotion
  • Comfortable in situations where presentations are required to communicate strategic direction to senior-level management.
  • Experience leading projects, executing promotion & sales activities in a construction equipment environment
  • Related experience - over 6 years
  • Travel: 5-20%
