The Attachments Planning and Inventory Analyst is responsible for the development, maintenance, and communication of an accurate 18-month demand forecast of assigned related attachments for the Heavy Equipment business as well as on demand orders from customer. This role will develop, manage and execute the Inventory Planning function for Attachments items demanded and also handle attachment vendor relationship and keep accurate count of inventory.

Role & Responsibility

Attachments Inventory Management

  • Manage inventory as prescribed in the annual operating plan (AOP).
  • Manage Inventory through reporting, analysis, and disposition activities.

 

Attachments Planning

  • Create and maintain a database of historical information including product shipments, sales, models, and take rate.
  • Take input from forecast models and key indicators to help create sales forecast for Doosan attachments.
  • Correlate forecast and channel inventory to model-specific demand plans and strategies.
  • Manage orders and subsequent work flow, processes, etc.
  • Develop monthly reports for sales trends and dollars for assigned products.
  • Analyze outcomes to assure continuous improvement in demand planning.
  • Maintain records of all relevant planning discussions.
  • Support Projects, create and implement new workflow process

Job Requirement

  • Strong understanding of Doosan Heavy Equipment product lines and attachments
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Data management experience
  • Product planning experience
  • Global sales, inventory & operations planning (SIOP)
  • Demonstrated statistical analysis (i.e. Excel, Access, etc.)
  • CPIM Certification Preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Team work, initiative, creativity and innovation skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Education:  Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience:  2>5 years
  • Travel required:  <10%
