Job Information

 

Responsible for the leadership and support of a group of professionals engaged in the fundamental research, design, development, validation, and support of fuel cell and electrolyzer stacks. This will also include support for the Engineering Services Labs.  They will provide leadership and direction to technology and development groups within the CSA discipline. Develop and implement strategies to ensure fuel cell stacks and electrolyzer stacks meet performance, quality, cost, and production schedule requirements. Lead and/or participate in integrated product development of the (IPD) environments and create an organization that supports the business goals. Continually focus on employee and career development opportunities within the CSA discipline. This role will have a strong concentration on leadership skills and abilities in conjunction with positive individual performance based on strong technical knowledge of fuel cell technologies and the cell stack discipline. Understanding the impacts of CSA technology on PPLT system and manufacturing processes and the ability to identify and drive continuous improvements.

Role & Responsibility

 

  • Collaborate with the Manufacturing and Quality teams to coordinate the implementation of new processes while developing transition plans to bridge the process revisions
  • Ensure CSA program and project results have been validated and thoroughly documented prior to the actual production release
  • Provide designated leadership and direction for the planning and implementation of research programs related to development and application of state-of the-art CSA technologies for customer products, processes, and development programs
  • Support the development of suppliers to help them meet technical, cost, and delivery goals
  • Stay current  on all of the external fuel cell and electrolyzer concepts and technology developments to maintain a leading edge in technology

Job Requirement - Education & Experience

 

  • BA/BS degree with 6-10+ years of experience
  • MA/MS degree with 4-7+ years of experience
  • PhD degree with 2-4 years of experience
  • Strong strategic and tactical leadership focus and skills
  • Robust knowledge and know-how with electrolyzer and/or fuel cell stacks
  • Prior technical project leadership
