Job Information

Responsible for the quality assurance of various Production manufacturing cells, components, and final product.

Apply systematic problem-solving methodologies in identifying and resolving quality issues. Ensure Corrective Actions/Preventative Actions (CAPA) are implemented and verify their effectiveness.

As the Quality representative on cross-functional teams, lead or support a variety of production and supplier issues, and improvement projects.

Utilize engineering principles and practices to execute quality assurance and quality systems applications
-
Maintain and track Key Performance Indicators (KPI). Presentation of KPIs to Management.

Manage/participate in quality audit functions (internal and external)

Communicate with customer and/or supplier on quality issues.

Oversees, supports and performs the testing and control of raw materials and finished product quality, ensuring compliance with company standards and applicable government regulations.

Support and drive failure analysis and corrective action, both internally and with suppliers, to identify and resolve root cause of problems.

Ensure special customer/product requirements are identified and followed. May have responsible for issuing a declaration of conformity stating that the special requirements (such as CSA or CE processes/marking) have been met.

Responsible for defining, refining and monitoring quality inspection requirements of components and systems. Support incoming supplier inspection requirements with technical and process guidance.

Oversee, lead and perform process audits, and implementation of supplier development plans.

Practical application of statistical concepts including: SPC techniques, hypothesis testing, DOE and sampling plans.

Manage the implementation of effective quality audits, including root cause analysis, troubleshooting and corrective actions.

Accountable for accuracy of all quality-related records within areas of responsibility, with clear understanding and achievement of desired organizational targets

Good working knowledge of corrective action and prevention methodology for non-conformity mitigation.

Effectively change priorities, with appropriate approval/authority, based on current information, and clearly and quickly communicate the changes
