Job Information

  • Support the quality assurance of various Production manufacturing cells, components, and final product.

  • Apply systematic problem-solving methodologies in identifying and resolving quality issues. Support the implementation of Corrective Actions/Preventative Actions (CAPA) and verify their effectiveness.

  • As a Quality representative on cross-functional teams, support a variety of production and supplier issues, and improvement projects.

  • Utilize engineering principles and practices to execute quality assurance and quality systems applications.

  • Track Key Performance Indicators (KPI). Presentation of KPIs to Management may be required.

  • Participate in quality audit functions (internal and external).

  • Communicate with customer and/or supplier on quality issues.

  • Recognition by internal staff, external customers, and suppliers of possessing knowledge of quality.

  • Understand overall quality objectives and principles. Continually work to deliver results and create solutions that support these objectives

  • Ensure customer commitments are met

  • Work across organizational boundaries and encourage collaboration to produce superior results.

  • View problems as opportunities for improvement. Support the identification of root causes of problems and determine corrective actions.

  • Demonstrate effective, reliable problem-solving skills.

  • Investigate developments in the quality field and identify quality-focused business ideas and practices.

  • Supports and performs the testing and control of raw materials and finished product quality, ensuring compliance with company standards and applicable government regulations.

  • Focus on overall product integrity and quality control

Job Requirement - Education & Experience

  • BA/BS with 0-2+ years of experience

  • Engineering or Quality Assurance degree discipline required. Prior Quality control experience is advantageous

  • Full understanding and deployment of a Quality Management System with expert knowledge of ISO 9001

  • Interpretation of technical drawings and specifications, industry specific standards and knowledge of change control processes and methods.

  • Excellent use of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Strong communications and organizational skills, with Intense focus on detail

  • Ability to work with minimal direct guidance or direction

  • Experience with Quality tools [PPAP, FMEAs, Gauge R&Rs, Process Control Plans a plus

  • Experience working with suppliers and supplier quality, along with quality auditing is a plus.
