The primary job functions of the Construction Manager is to:

-  be involved in the methodology, pre-planning and execution of project works, together with establishing and maintaining a suitably qualified and experienced workforce by providing leadership and oversight for workface teams whilst ensuring delivery to specification, including safety, quality and specified contractual requirements.  This also includes responsible for the management of any subcontractors deployed on these projects.

- liaise with design teams to ensure the design is progressing in line with the programme and that constructability is fully considered through the design cycle.

- liaise with procurement teams and suppliers.

- work seamlessly with the client and Doosan Babcock project management teams.

Ideally you will have a high level of site managerial experience of working on a nuclear facility and have extensive engineering knowledge of pipework installations and lifting operations to oversee requirements for the project.


In order to be considered you'll hold either a ONC or HNC/D in Engineering, AND/OR, Degree / Project Management qualification, be a member of a professional institute and have a minimum of 5 years on site experience in construction operations. Ideally you will already have CTC clearance to work on a nuclear establishment. Please note candidates must live within a commutable distance to site to be considered.
