Position Summary: 

The role is responsible to control Inbound Freight & Logistics costs end to end and identify cost saving opportunities in total delivered cost. Prepare cost savings project proposals to present to supply chain management and support the implementation of the projects. Own  the Supply chain savings roadmap, and report on progress. Prepare the annual Freight and Logistics Budgets for EMEA

Role & Responsibility

Data Gathering & Controlling

•    Build Supply Chain Cost Reports and KPIs
•    Use BI , MRP,  Cost reports and other tools to identify costs per activity and identify waste
•    Benchmark costs between different flows and different business divisions to identify opportunities

KPI´s
•    Monthly KPIs reported on Logistics costs and their cost drivers
•    Savings opportunities identified

Cost Control 

•    Review actual costs vs expected costs and ensure savings projects are implemented and transformed to bottom line results

KPI´s
•    Logistics Cost per machine
•    Freight costs as % of purchased value

Projects Implementation

•    Drive Project implementation,  align all involved functions and provide support and project coordination
•    Report on Project progress to management

KPI´s
•    Project Progress 
•    Monthly savings
•    Maintains Project scorecards to report in a standard format
