We are currently looking for a Project HSE Manager with a track record of successfully delivering major EPC projects within the energy sector, supporting the project leadership team to liaise with Regulatory bodies to gain Permits, Consents and Authorisations associated with major EPC delivery.


You will support the Project team, during FEED studies and EPC Delivery, in the deployment of Company QHS&E Policy and delivery of business goals. Supporting the Project Team in delivering effective HS&E performance whilst engendering a positive safety culture and minimising environmental impacts.


You will support the Project Manager, in developing and applying the company HS&E Policies and strategies and promoting a positive HS&E culture to achieve successful HS&E performance. You will be responsible for evaluating RFQ/ITT documentation and associated DCO applications. You will evaluate and develop PCI Documentation, Residual Risk management strategies, full implementation of Design based assessments and supporting H&S File development. You will support the HS&E Function in maintaining HS&E accreditations and report on analysis and investigation performance trends and deployment of Performance Improvement Initiatives.


You will identify deficiencies within HS&E management system and close gaps, and research and benchmark the Project against best HS&E performance/practice. You will develop and maintain a current and adequate HS&E regulatory data base system, keeping abreast of Regulatory changes to determine impact to the business and ensure Company compliance. Ensure the delivery or regular and suitable HS&E awareness and training that underpins business objectives and support of the Project Delivery. Immediately notify the Sector HS&E Manager of any reported LTA’s, RIDDOR’S or other serious incidents. Fully support the Investigation and reporting process on serious HS&E accidents/incidents and expedite the resolution of HS&E issues. Actively encourage and support the building of a positive project team spirit for all HS&E matters.


You will have a NEBOSH Diploma and IEMA Cert, in Environmental Management or equivalent. You will hold a Membership of IOSH. You will have a proven background in industry EPC HS&E Manager position and a track record with capability to drive and promote HS&E values, and lead on all HSE matters. You will have sufficient and appropriate Site and Project and industry experience both internally and externally.
