The most significant energy revolution is underway now. The energy landscape is changing developments in technology and consumer behaviour at an unprecedented rate, driving the transition and creating new opportunities in our industry.

With the support of the wider Doosan business, we are establishing an innovation team to leverage the company’s existing Distributed Energy Resource (DER) technologies and to accelerate the development of new product offerings and energy solutions of the future.

We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Product Manager to join our growing Energy Systems business to manage the development and delivery of hydrogen-based technologies and services.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of product and technology roadmaps for defined target markets, and ensure innovative new products and services are developed for commercialisation.
  • Lead business development activities to understand key market drivers and trends, and to develop robust value propositions to meet customer requirements.
  • Develop proposals and provide pre-sales technical and commercial guidance.
  • Implement and execute clear risk and requirements management processes.
  • Develop relationships with partners and sub-contractors to establish product delivery and supply chain strategies.
  • Provide inter-disciplinary support and technical governance.
  • Support project teams to deliver competitive engineering solutions.

We are looking for candidates who are degree qualified with considerable research or industry experience in DER. PhD and/or Chartered Engineer status is preferable.

You should have knowledge and experience of hydrogen systems, including generation (SMR, Electrolysis), storage, transportation and Power-to-X technologies. In addition experience of leading front-end engineering process system design with a working knowledge of PFDs/P&IDs, operating philosophies, equipment design specifications and technical/safety risk assessment is required.

If you are passionate, driven and an expert in your field then joining our organisation will provide significant opportunities for you to embrace the energy of the future.
