We are currently looking for a Principal Mechanical Engineer to join the business, within our Process & Energy division. With extensive experience in both Brownfield and Greenfield projects, covering FEED and EPC work.

We are looking for a driven and proactive Principal Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in delivering pipework, structural and FEA component analysis solutions to code across our various nuclear sites in line with Industry regulations, including PED, PSSR and CDM.
Specifically, you will deliver engineering design and procurement projects which will include assurance of constructability through interface with our site teams. You will produce and validate your own design calculations and technical reports, alongside checking and verifying members of your team’s work, you’ll contribute to the development of Project Execution Strategies and suggest ways to improve Operating procedures and other process and systems amongst other duties. 

You will have a degree in a relevant Engineering subject and ideally be working towards chartered engineering status. You will have well developed communication skills, and you will be confident in sharing your proven knowledge as a Mechanical Engineer using industry standard engineering software tools to design codes such as BS EN 13480, B31.1, ASME III, PD5500 and Eurocode.
