We are currently recruiting for a Materials Control Manager who will work within the Procurement department in Renfrew. This position will manage the roles and responsibilities of materials management execution associated with project delivery across all business functions.

 

Responsibilities will include:

 

  • Manage purchase order deliverables to meet project execution.
  • Support efficient project delivery by preparing reports detailing delivery status on any engaged project.
  • Identify and manage risks and issues related to materials management on any engaged project, escalating for guidance/resolution where appropriate
  • Contribute to developing the materials management system by monitoring supplier delivery execution and involvement with supplier development activities.
  • Liaise and interface with Project Quality, Expediting, Project Procurement and the supply chain to ensure smooth delivery of goods.

 

We are looking for an individual with significant and appropriate experience of collaborative team working within an alliance project team, ideally within an Engineering and/or Construction organisation. You will have an HNC (or equivalent) and/or full membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS) with extensive experience in Materials Management.
