Due to an internal promotion, an opportunity now exists for an ambitious data specialist who can maintain our exceptional record of data compliance/information security. You'll be the focal point and Lead Auditor for Doosan Babcock’s continued certification to ISO:27001.  Work with DDIE (Doosan Digital Information Europe) to ensure the technical elements/controls of ISO:27001 are in place and meet the requirements of the standard.  Own and maintain the Information security risk and asset registers and where appropriate, ensure any risks are analysed down to root cause.  Manage and update the Data Compliance Project Plan and ensure all actions are addressed and closed out. Ensure that the Data Compliance objectives are aligned with the Doosan Babcock business objectives as defined in the Information Security Policy . Manage all security incidents and data breaches ensuring alignment with the DPO and DDIE.  Manage the issue and completion (where required) for all Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIA’s) and Cloud Hosting Questionnaire’s (CHQ); working closely with DDIE.  Support and deputise for the Head of Data Compliance with any Data Protection queries/actions to ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act (DPA) and General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). Manage and update the Data Compliance Policies and Procedures.

 

You'll need a sharp eye for detail, great analysis/auditing skills, be a natural planner, and of course possess well developed communication skills. In regards to formal qualifications, you'll probably hold a degree in Information Technology (or similar) and have worked in a similar information security/data compliance role. Project Management qualifications are strongly desireable.
