A position has arisen for an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our busy HR team, the successful candidate will be predominantly based at our Renfrew site, although some travel to our client sites will be also required when feasible.

The HRBP will mainly be focused on supporting our Process & Energy sector, however, you will play a vital role in our HR team supporting the wider Doosan Babcock business. Your responsibilities will include the execution of HR/People Management tasks relating to Business Operating Procedures and implementing and independently managing risks and issues related to the people management process, escalating to more senior members of the team for guidance/resolution where appropriate.


With your established HRBP background, having extensive experience within a unionised environment and having worked at a similar generalist level, ideally within either an Engineering, Oil & Gas, or Construction business, you will understand the need for a pragmatic approach, be tactful and empathetic, but above all be confident in your ability to provide guidance to and influence a diverse set of internal customers on the full spectrum of employment life cycle matters. Attention to detail and working in a highly organised manner are key attributes required within this role, alongside significant achievements within various areas of HR such as talent management, employee relations, TUPE and business partnering.

The successful candidate will have.
1.    BSc/BA college or vocational qualification (preferably in a related subject(s)) plus accredited post graduate training qualifying towards professional registration (e.g., Associate CIPD or MCIPD) of a recognised professional institution (CIPD)
2.    Knowledge and application of relevant employment Laws and Regulations.
3.    Significant experience in HR delivery, advising and guiding line managers/stakeholders in the delivery of HR activity and influencing decision-making.
