Quality Manager

Job Information

In this strategic QA leadership role you will manage the development and implementation of all QA Strategies, Processes, Procedures and Governance.

•    Providing a Single Point of Contact for all Quality across a major Defence portfolio,
•    Manage the development and maintenance of Integrated Management System,
•    Develop, tailor and implement QA management plan and supporting processes across the Programme.
•    Prepare, shape and maintain key IMS documents including quality objectives, performance measures, plans and procedures,
•    Manage both internal quality and supplier QA audits and management reviews in accordance with an agreed audit schedule, facilitating the verification of governance and compliance, identifying process improvements,
•    Supporting the Head of Engineering on Life Cycle Management (LCM) maturity/design reviews in accordance with Approving Authorities requirements,
•    Leading on QA and QC management activities within Implementation to ensure quality requirements are included within CCF contracts,
•    Providing Supply Chain quality management including tender workshops, reviewing tenders, specification reviews and factory acceptance testing,
•    Monitoring product quality verification activities and document reviews, audits and surveillance visits to ensure products and services comply with contractual requirements,
•    Liaise with any Government Quality Assurance Representatives (GQR) (if required) and other quality representatives.
•    Train, coach and develop Team to ensure a continued World Class approach to Quality Assurance
