Job Information
• The product trainer is responsible for:
o Delivering product trainings, mainly but not only, to the dealer network, in various formats, such as classroom (in presence), webinars, virtual classes, etc.
o Developing training material, to become the trustworthy expert by product and share strong sales arguments
o Ensuring that the product trainings provided by the Bobcat Institute match the requirements, quality, format and needs of the dealer network.
o Leveraging all e-format solutions, including videos
o Supporting NPD launches
• He/She will create strong links with other departments such as the Product Business Units and Marketing to develop and align messages or to support VOC activities.
• The product trainer should gain deep intimacy on Bobcat equipment as well as competition. Hence, he/she will be involved in managing competitive testing and develop the supporting training material.
• As a trainer, he/she should monitor trends, technologies, tools available to always deliver quality impacful messages.
Role & Responsibility
• Deliver impactful webinars / Virtual classes per topic (adapting content to this format)
• Deliver impactful Instructor-led trainings (ILT), across EMEA (territory to be defined - when Covid allows)
o Prepare & adapt
o Travel arrangements
• Monitor class feedback and adapt accordingly
• Agree action plan and follow up
• Planning and organising each events in a professional manner
• Develop new content matching field needs (by level)
• Complete gaps in offering
• Adapt courses to audience type and level (in digital and live format)
• Ensure training material is maintained up-to-date with modern feel
• Ensure alignment with BU and Marketing
• Respect Standards
• Support Certification and Learning Path initiatives
• Monitor evolution of new training didactics and implement new technologies/approaches where and when appropriate (especially in Covid times).
• Secure rental equipment
• Run meaningful tests (with BU and demo team support)
• Assess strong and weaker points vs. competition
• Develop strong sales arguments and adequate training material
• Develop battle cards
• Become a trusted advisor and promoter to the field and dealer network
• Coordinate efforts with other functions such as Product Dpt., NPD dpt., Marketing, Demo team
Job Requirement
University Degree, equivalent allowed, ideally in Sales, Marketing or Business Administration
Job-related General
• Product knowledge, ideally in Earth Moving Equipment, Ground Maintenance Equipment, Portable Power
• Commercial experience and B2B relationship management would be a plus
• Very good training and presentation skills
• Very good communication skills, verbal and written
• Good computer skills (Powerpoint, Word, Excel)
• Any knowledge of additional graphical packages is a plus.

Experience in a field position, ideally with B2B interactions.

Operator licence is a plus
