Parts Master Data Specialist

Position Summary:

As Parts Product / Interface Support Coordinator:

• Ensure correct parts data management by maintaining supersession history;
• Timely creating items and supporting sourcing in getting supplier cost information;
• Ensuring the parts are orderable in e-commerce.
• Leading cross-functional meeting before new product launches by providing Initial parts forecasting and recommend stock guides to the material planning team.
• Co-ordinate the interface related issues

Role & Responsibility

New Product- Parts stocking:

• Proactively working on part setup for new product launch
• Leading cross functional meeting and representing parts group
• Analyzing the parts manual for new machine, and preparing the initial stock listing and RSG item listing
• Ensuring material management place the order for ISL and RSG items and procure them in time before the SOP of new product

Interface co-ordination:

• Reviewing interface performance to identify problem areas / opportunities for improvement.
• Escalating as necessary with interface partners to eliminate failures.

Part Setup/parts maintenance:

• Timely setup of parts
• Gathering item master data and setting them up correctly.
• Updating customs codes and other item attributes on daily basis.
• Helping customer service/planning team by providing or correcting item status.
• Correct supersession in time, maintaining the supersession history.
• Analyzing of engineering drawings to be used in item master data.
• Resolving technical issues and helping other departments.
• Creating/setting up drop shipment for customer service.

Job Requirement

• Education & Qualification:  Business Administration - Bachelors Degree /Allow Equivalent
• Experience:  2>5 years
• Hands on experience in data management
• Experience with data management in a working environment
• Previous knowledge of heavy machines ideal
• Experience with 2D engineering drawings, assembly drawings, technical specifications
• IT literate, Hands on experience in Excel
• Project management
• Data management skills
• English language proficiency
• Good technical background

• Travel Standard: < 10%
