Position Summary: Develop software for control of Hydro-electrical systems on construction machines. Position will also entail using Bobcat software development processes for coding, modeling, and testing these control systems.
Role & Responsibility
• Creation of the application software, system settings, and machine configurations
• Analyze and understand requirements (product needs, vehicle, regulatory, etc…) and standards to define functional systems, software, and network architecture
• Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle (V-Cycle)
• Perform functional testing using model simulation, bench testing, and on Bobcat equipment
• Monitoring of software validation plan
• Support the selection of appropriate design solutions
• Provide support on all sustaining activities for serial production machines, including production or Quality issues, productivity items, design changes and until after market.
• Support with requirement clarification during issues analysis
• Develop application knowledge of new electronic components, hardware, architecture, and procedures beneficial to assigned product changes as directed
• Manage software design of machine subsystems, embedded system and electronic components

Job Requirement
Education & Qualification: Engineering Master degree - Electrical, Computer, Software or equivalent
- Experiences with Embedded software development or software validation
- Experience in an industrial environment
Knowledge& Skill:
• Experience in embedded software development (C, C++ others) and model based development (Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow)
• Understanding of CAN J1939 communications as well as other network communication protocols
• Knowledge of Hardware for electronic components (control unit, display etc.)
• Excellent IT skills (MS Office, …)
• English, French
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Leadership skills
