Our Nuclear Graduate Scheme fundamentally aims to ensure we are recruiting, developing, deploying and retaining a pool of talent made up of future leaders and technical experts that will meet the needs of the future business. 


During your 2 years as a Nuclear Graduate trainee you will work on various nuclear projects throughout the UK, completing multiple project placements, before transitioning into an engineering role within Doosan Babcock to support both business needs and continue to develop your individual aspirations.

These will include (but are not limited to) the following projects/areas of development:

-    Hinkley Point C – Bristol/Southwest
-    PPP – Cumbria/Northwest
-    Engineering, Procurement and Construction 
-    Project Controls
-    Project Delivery 
-    Support to gain Chartered status with relevant institute
-    Designated mentor to help you through your time as a trainee 


Working as a Nuclear Graduate trainee with Doosan Babcock you will be expected to deliver solutions and contribute to the teams you work in; so you must be able to demonstrate integrity, self-motivation, initiative and excellent communication skills. 


The minimum entrance requirement for our Nuclear Graduate Scheme is a 2:2 honours degree qualification in either a numerate, science or engineering specialism.
