Job Information

Support the business objectives by managing supply chain activities, including material planning, purchase order management, logistics management, and supplier relationships. Analyze, plan, schedule, and order materials on time while managing specific inventory levels to maximize operational efficiency and working capital to achieve business objectives. Engage in purchase order management thru the entire procure to pay cycle. Evaluate, select, and recommend preferred logistical methods to achieve business objectives. Maintain supplier relationships to facilitate partnerships with suppliers to acheive our annual operating plan. Manage various supply chain activities to enhance quality, cost effectiveness and maximize operating income.

Role & Responsibility

Relationship Management

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders from multiple functional areas and diverse levels of authority as it pertains to new product development projects
  • Communication of risks to supply chain and impact to new product development projects
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships and rapport with suppliers to aid in the timely delivery of materials to our warehouse and/or dealers
  • Effectively work directly with individuals at all levels throughout the supplier's organizational chart, from entry level customer service employees to higher level managers and executives.

Maintain Acceptable Inventory Levels

  • Develop, manage, and execute the Supply Chain Analyst function by managing inventory levels to achieve forecasted turn rates and schedule requirements
  • Create and maintain integrated processes among Operations, Procurement, Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing Services, and outside suppliers to implement the planning/replenishment process, while identifying procedure and tools needed to employ these systems.
  • Schedule and implement part change notices (ENC's) while minimizing obsolescence.

Past due Order Management

  • Minimize expediting time and freight costs for inventory issues.
  • Work closely with management and other key decision makers from all functional areas to ensure an uninterrupted supply of material to various locations.
  • Work with Accounts Payable on invoicing issues as applicable.

Job Requirement

  • Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field.
    • Equivalent experience in the supply chain in lieu of degree accepted.
  • Experience Required: 0 >2years
  • Travel Required: <10%
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, solid analytical/problem solving skills, and the ability to multi-task and follow through in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capability to use Oracle, SAP, and other business systems.
  • Able to read and receive instructions in English.
  • High Degree of fluency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
