As a Sr. Marketing Specialist for Product Planning, you will provide marketing leadership for NA Bobcat products involving machines, services, aftermarket and product support. You will also provide planning leadership for digital marketing, big data analytics, and a focus on customers sites to grow product, services and solutions business units.

Role & Responsibility

  • Collect and analyze marketing information and competitive insights to developing strategies and product marketing plans
  • Partner with product planners, internal teams, bringing dealer and customer insights to develop marketing strategies that support growth and customer satisfaction objectives
  • Build marketing plans for campaigns, major events, customer surveys, digital marketing
  • Establish marketing plan focused on customer experience for products and services
  • Developing plans and metrics to link marketing spend and investment to customer satisfaction and business growth
  • Implementing improvements based on value stream mapping and big data analytics
  • Creating proactive business and marketing plans for products, dealers, regions and customers with monthly agreed KPI and reporting cadence
  • Creating and executing marketing campaign plans for Product (including NPI) to support growth
  • Develop digital marketing, technical selling, presentations, and performance benchmarking

Job Requirement

  • Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field
  • Experience Required: 5+ years of progressive experience in marketing planning and effectiveness, ideally in consumer-driven brand marketing, digital marketing, and channel development
  • Travel Required: <10%
  • Solid understanding of retail, ecommerce, and brand management
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to understand results and derive actionable insights
  • Experience with marketing effectiveness and reporting tools
  • High proficiency business intelligence tools
  • Experience leading and influencing teams
  • The ability to successfully develop and execute programs utilizing both direct resources as well as matrix resources, while investing marketing funds with focus on measured business impact
  • Success in a organization and a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Strong executive-level communications skills
