Director Financial Reporting

The Director Financial Reporting will provide financial oversight to the organization in the areas of accounting and financial reporting. This role will consolidate financial data generated by the various facilities and will anticipate financial ramifications of business actions and provide accurate guidelines for the accounting treatment. The successful candidate will be responsible to build, direct, develop, motivate a world-class accounting team.

Role & Responsibility

  • Determine appropriate level of staffing and development as needed.
  • Manage the relationships with external auditors.
  • Develop and manage all external financial reporting requirements to ensure accurate timing and full disclosure to lenders and to the holding company
  • Maintain International Financial Reporting Standard
  • Support financial controls to ensure all accounting conforms to the company standards
  • Leading GAAP and IFRS training sessions for the finance team
  • Close and report results on a monthly basis in a timely manner and in compliance with US GAAP and corporate accounting guidelines
  • Manage interim period and year-end financial in US GAAP and IFRS
  • Serve as a company Accounting expert in answering questions from operating locations; interpreting and applying new accounting principles; assisting with the accounting for special/complex transactions
  • Coordinate and communicate with other corporate functional areas (Corporate Controller, Treasury, Tax, Legal, etc.)

Job Requirement

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Master's degree and CPA preferred
  • Experience: >10 years
  • Travel: <10%
  • Previous experience as a Senior Financial Manager for a Billion+ revenue company preferred
  • Previous manufacturing industry experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop and coach a team
  • Unwilling to compromise personal integrity or business ethics and be able to maintain confidentiality
  • Willing to work in a dynamic environment
  • Proven leadership skills
