This position is responsible for documentation, facilitating, coordinating, innovation activities through cross-functional teams, vendors, and start-ups.

Role & Responsibility

Innovation Activity Tracking and Coordination

  • Detailed documentation of innovation activities and pilots.  Where appropriate recording and documenting these activities in internal systems
  • Guiding teams and ensuring that activities match the strategies developed
  • Schedule and maintain cross-functional activity schedules and strategic objective reviews.
  • Track, compile, present and communicate to stakeholder’s strategic objectives and activity updates.
  • Document resource plan for innovation AOP/LRP.
  • Facilitate the formation of cross-functional teams with internal team members, vendors, third parties, and new start-up companies and the coordination of those team’s activities.
  • Support information and documentation required for the Innovation Steering Committee.

Cross Team Collaboration and Facility Coordination

  • Position will be responsible for maintaining the downtown Fargo Bobcat Start-up Center image, environment and culture to sustain Innovation Accelerated. Continuously monitor and ensure that the activities at the center meet the strategic development needs of products, processes and new businesses related to technology development and innovation integration and advancement   Where and when appropriate document, report out, and promote those activities.

Job Requirement

  • Education Required: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.
  • Experience Required: 5+ years.
  • Travel Required: <10%
  • Ability to cultivate productive working relationships with internal stakeholders and business partners.
  • Demonstrate business acumen.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively persuade/influence.
  • Experience in vendor/relationship/project management.
  • Ability to create an environment of collaboration, leveraging cross-functional skill sets while constantly improving processes.
  • An enthusiastic and positive change agent for new and emerging technologies.
  • Highly organized documentation skills, quickly turn many pieces of information into concise reports. 
  • Cross-functional team collaboration and management.
  • Requires strong influencing skill set.
