The Sales Executive, PureCell® Model 400 position directly engages with prospective customers in order to communicate the value proposition of HyAxiom fuel cell technology and drive revenue growth for the company. This position is focused on building a strong relationship with target customers to develop and close sales of the HyAxiom PureCell® Model 400 product. This position will be responsible for managing the direct purchase / PPA sales program in order to develop strong client relationships through effective communications in all aspects of the sale process including initiation, contract negotiation and closing. HyAxiom is looking for sales team members to represent the organization with our core values of people, sustainability, innovation, and integrity.

Role & Responsibility

  • Generate leads/work to identify prospective customers for HyAxiom’s PureCell® Model 400 product
  • Make regular contact with prospective customers in order to effectively communicate HyAxiom’s value proposition and work to cultivate a business relationship
  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities/evaluate customer needs
  • Proactively listen/seek to understand customer requirements as they impact HyAxiom’s PAFC designs
  • Identify product improvements/new products by remaining current on industry trends/market activities/competitors
  • Ensure the highest quality and innovative approaches for RFPs to maximize hit rates/deliverability of proposals
  • Prepare/deliver appropriate presentations on products/services
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Manage all aspects of the sales process from initial contact to sales closing

Job Requirement - Education and Experience

  • BA/BS degree with 10+ years of experience
  • MA/MS/MBA degree with 7+ years of experience
  • Sales experience of energy products/projects as a part of EPC or engineering consulting firm
  • Experience working directly/indirectly in EPC firms with the specification/design and execution of clean tech/renewable energy products
  • Dynamic communication abilities; persuasive/energetic
  • Demonstrated business acumen with ability to articulate value statements in meaningful ways to diverse audiences/stakeholders
  • Sales/marketing and strategic planning knowledge, skills, and leadership in a manufacturing/factory environment
  • Engage with cross-functional groups, including management to develop strategic sales program for the business
