Job Information
The Lead Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) Engineer will be responsible for the problem-resolution and continuous improvement of Doosan’s global power plant fleet, with focus on reliability and capacity, integrating with field service team to understand top issues and working closely with Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing and Engineering driving product/process improvement through all aspects of the organization to achieve customer satisfaction. Do this by utilizing RCCA tools to guide cross functional team through root cause investigation.
Attention and efforts are focused on leading resolution of actions that come out of: Quality Clinic component failure pareto, Sustaining Clinic shutdown and root cause pareto, troubleshooting escalation to Engineering, decision trees and troubleshooting guides updates. Requires effective and ongoing multi-disciplinary collaboration and strong teamwork focus across organizational boundaries to optimize successful issue resolutions. This role has specific concentration on performance and delivery of effective root cause actions and investigations to seek, identify and deliver optimal corrective actions to promote overall product success and reliability, with concurrent elevation of customer satisfaction.
Role & Responsibility
- Identify and determine the best process and product resolution requirements for corrective action. (RCCA)
- Seek and capture effective RCCA results, and assure corrections are completely documented for use, and fully deployed to maximize corrective actions to assure overall fleet improvement
- Work with Engineering departments to lead completion of troubleshooting guides updates and complex issues escalations
- Ensure customer commitments are met with quality resolutions, products, and processes
- Lead and support root cause corrective action teams and activities
- Ability to work effectively with diversity of technical employees

Job Requirement - Education & Experience
- BA/BS degree with 5-7+ years of experience
- MA/MS degree with 3-5+ years of experience
- Degree(s) in Engineering (& Business for advanced degree)
- Experience with understanding customer demands/requirements, and executing appropriate, determined solutions
- Ability and experience working with a diverse group of technical and business-focused individuals and groups, often on a global basis
- Experience with RCCA process and leading teams to corrective actions implementation
Job Requirement - Knowledge & Skill
- Knowledge and understanding of fuel cell technologies, of RCCA, and related systems and processes.
- Robust process and systems understanding, know-how and expertise
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Adaptability to complete various tasks as business needs change
