Job Information

Installation, operation, maintenance, repair and modification of in-field power plants, equipment, controls, components and ancillary products. Guidance and training provided to customer personnel in establishing operation, maintenance and inspection procedures and techniques.   Analysis of equipment failures to determine cause and recommend corrective actions. Key support for an aggressive product support team focused on optimal service. Support world-class strategic, tactical, technical service and aftermarket support to current and potential product customers. As a key support and lead of a multi-disciplinary team, the Senior Field Service Engineer is responsible for developing and carrying-out engineering design and repair-related activities incorporating Doosan’s proprietary technologies. Conduct unyielding focus on delivering tangible continuous improvement to the evolving products and the field service support in general.

Role & Responsibility

  • Conduct in-field troubleshooting and root-cause analysis on-site and from field locations using the Engineering terminal and Field Service Technicians as required
  • Prepare detailed reports of findings and suggest possible hardware and software adjustments/repairs
  • Develop schematics and P&ID for various sub-systems and for entire power plant systems, showing major components, pumps, valves, heat exchangers and various sensor
  • Tracks and assures budget targets are met
  • Focus on cost containment initiatives and opportunities across the Service organization
  • Conduct power plant and sub-systems performance analyses, hardware verification, testing, troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Train Field Technicians on the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of Fuel Cell units.
  • Lead and support root cause corrective action teams and activities.
  • Ability to work effectively with diversity of technical employees and customers

Job Requirement

Education

  • BA/BS degree with 2-5+ years of experience
  • MA/MS degree with 0-2+ years of experience

Knowledge & Skill

  • Functional understanding of fuel cell technology and manufacture
  • Budget development and control
  • Project management
  • Problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Collaboration with effective customer relations management
  • Strong communication, organization and computer/IT skills
  • Continuous improvement focus and tool usage
