Job Information
Develop and execute business development plans & strategies for HyAxiom’s suite of hydrogen solutions including fuel cells and electrolyzers. The role includes reviewing potential companies for M&A, JV and licensing along with deal negotiation/closing, identifying potential customers/partnerships across the globe with initial focus on the US and the European markets, developing market penetration plans/strategies, conducting research on markets and customer needs and arranging meetings with prospective customers/partners to expand HyAxiom’s business. This position requires candidates to have proven working experience in business development and/or strategy with strong willingness to work proactively in multicultural environment.
Role & Responsibility
- Understands company’s vision and mission and takes lead in developing and executing appropriate plans and strategies to achieve targets.
- Takes lead in identifying, evaluating and communicating with prospective companies for M&A, JV and licensing, potential customers/partnerships and developing strategies to expand our business
- Accurately analyzes the dynamics of the markets, industries, competitors and customers
- Identifies prospective accounts in targeted markets, generates new leads, finds decision-makers, screens potential business opportunities, and select deals in line with strategies
- Engages in partnership/sales/licensing negotiations
- Communicates in timely manner with internal teams and executive management on new plans / initiatives, progress and results.
Job Requirement - Education & Experience
- BA/BS with 5+ years of experience, MA/MBA with 3+ years of experience, PhD with 1+ years of experience
- Proven working experience in business development, with thorough and successful implementation of development plans and strategies
- Proven experience in B2B sector and/or energy sector (Oil&Gas, Utility, IPP, Renewable Energy, etc)
- Experience in consulting firms or investment banks, and M&A, JV, Licensing is a plus
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task and flourish with minimal guidance
- Ability to build rapport, with sound communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, budgeting, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Excellent business judgement and expeditious business acumen, with commitment to customer satisfaction balanced with business results and risks
