We are looking for Trainee Trade and Compliance to join our team at Bobcat.

As Trainee Trade and Compliance at Bobcat, you’ll play a key role in our community. The Trade Compliance department for the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) ensures that the company complies with international regulations during the import and export of goods. They work daily with customs and legal departments, monitoring EU, U.S., U.N., and other institutional regulations — like sanctions, embargoes, or customs rules.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Assisting with verifying suppliers, customers, and transactions against sanction lists and embargoes.
  • Managing documentation, internal processes, and databases.
  • Supporting internal audits and subsequent corrective actions.
  • Collaborating with Logistics, Purchasing, and Legal departments in resolving trade issues.
  • Monitoring legislation regarding international trade and specific requirements for individual countries.

What sets you apart:

  • You are an active university student (ideally studying Economics/Finance, Logistics, or Law).
  • You are detail-oriented, analytical skills and meticulous — you will be working with important data, evaluating risks and legal issues.
  • You are fluent in Czech and proficient in English — documents will be in English, and your team will be international.
  • You can handle sensitive information within your department.
  • You are willing to be in the office in Dobříš at least 2 days a week.

What you get in return:

  • A long-term paid internship contract for 220 CZK/hour.
  • Flexible work arrangements according to your schedule (approx. 20 hours/week) — leaving time for school and hobbies.
  • Work in an international and modern environment at the Dobříš campus.
  • Possibility of occasional home office or work from the student office in Smíchov.
  • Opportunity to write your bachelor's or master's thesis.
  • Future collaboration after finishing your studies.
  • Meal vouchers or lunches in canteen.

Is the above something that interests and excites you? If so, simply respond to this advertisement or send your CV.

We look forward to hearing from you!

At Bobcat, we support equal opportunities, value diversity of skills, perspectives and cultures and encourage applications from candidates from all backgrounds.
