We are looking for Senior Financial Cost Analyst EMEA to join our team at Bobcat.
As a Senior Financial Cost Analyst EMEA at Bobcat, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial accuracy and operational efficiency across EMEA region. You’ll be part of a dynamic team within the Controlling finance organization ensuring accurate cost control, insightful analysis, and compliance with IFRS standards. Product costing is a critical process that involves calculating the total costs associated with producing a machine, including materials, labor, and overhead expenses. In this role, you will be responsible for managing cost systems, analyzing product costs, and ensuring accurate financial reporting to support strategic decision-making. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance cost control processes.
We’re Looking For Someone Who Will:
- Lead financial monthly and annual costing processes, validating standard and actual costs cost calculations.
- Analyze monthly financial results, including variances in standard costs, purchase price variance, and inventory.
- Build knowledge of end-to-end processes to support strategic decision-making.
- Support sourcing and plant operations with performance analysis, cost reduction initiatives, and inventory control.
- Provide accurate financial reporting to stakeholders and the parent company, including ad hoc reports for investor relations.
- Assist in audits and ensure compliance with IFRS standards.
What sets you apart:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields; Master’s degree, CFA or CPA preferred.
Experience:
- 3+ years’ experience in financial analysis, Product cost control, Knowledge of the key drivers of cost into industrial business, budgeting, and reporting; experience within manufacturing or supply chain in a multinational environment preferred.
System knowledge:
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency;
- proficiency in cost module within Oracle or SAP
Other Skills:
- Strong analytical mindset with hands-on problem-solving ability.
- Excellent communication skills in English
