NPD Quality Engineer

Job Information

Position Summary: 

New Product Development (NPD) Quality Engineer is responsible for the advanced product quality planning (APQP) and the production approval/release process (PPAP) of internally manufactured parts, sub-assemblies, and complete Bobcat Compact machines.

Role & Responsibility

•    Quality plan - Plan the quality activities to ensure that core quality documents will be available at the required phase of the launch.
Review feedback from the field (voice of the customer) and factory (voice of the factory) to define and fulfill quality requirements of the product.

•    Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP) - Lead component quality planning

Job Requirement

Education Required: Technical university graduate, or Secondary Technical School of Mechanical Engineering

Experience Required: 
>5 years in quality engineering related to APQP/NPD or production quality
>8 years other relevant working experience

Travel Required: e.g. 0-20%

Knowledge & Skills:
•    Solid knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals and proven ability to apply this knowledge to new product development and manufacturing
