EMEA Manufacturing Engineer-Painting

Job Information

Develops manufacturing methods in painting area, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and production equipment capabilities and quality control standards to optimize cost and quality.

Role & Responsibility

  • Participate in definition of existing or future factory manufacturing processes concerning painting area, systems, equipment, and materials in terms of their associated cost, time, ergonomic, quality, and quantity factors
  • Participate in planning and following up the installation of machinery and parts in line with design plans
  • Estimate production times, staffing requirements and related costs to provide information for management decisions
  • Introduction of new machines into serial production
  • Creation of production documentation, production procedures and instructions within defined projects
  • Active search for ways to increase production efficiency (increase quality, capacity or reduce costs)
  • Cooperation with production departments, optimization of production processes
  • Support for innovative projects in paint shops (e.g. painting robotization)

Job Requirement

  • Experienced working in painting area with minimum Experience Necessary:  2>5 years
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing process, Painting
  • CAD skills preferred
  • Excellent IT skills (MS Office, …)
  • English
  • Analytical thinking, work with data
