Doosan Digital Innovation Europe (DDIE) provides total IT service to Doosan affiliates in EMEA. This includes IT Services, Innovation Projects and Technology Governance to all EMEA Doosan affiliates. Since its establishment in UK in 2014 DDIE is currently supporting over 200 applications, 5000 users in UK , Czech R, UAE, Poland, Germany, Ireland, France & Belgium. DDIE is part of a global IT Services Provider headquartered in Seoul in South Korea.

 

Doosan is embarking on a Digital Transformation journey that will see a shift from maintaining back office systems to real added-value innovation. DDIE and her sister companies already have several successful Digital activities e.g. Drone Division in Korea, IoT Boiler Performance for Doosan Babcock, Smart Factory for Doosan Skoda Power and the Digital Workplace Manager is a key role to support this exciting new direction.

 

In your new role as Digital Workplace manager you will be expected to lead the creation of a work environment that boosts workforce digital dexterity through an engaging and intuitive work environment. The goal is to improve the employee experience covering Doosan affiliates in EMEA. This role will ensure the Doosan group can profit from digital business models and enhanced workforce effectiveness to achieve its business goals. 

 

Ideally you'll hold the following skills/technical knowledge:

 

  • Technical understanding of virtualisation technologies such as VDI (Citrix), DaaS, VMware, Nutanix, Hyper V 
  • Comprehensive experience deploying, administering, and supporting services such as Active Directory, Azure AD ,Exchange (Hybrid desired), Skype, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint
  • Ability to produce clear and detailed user and system documentation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with 3rd parties.
  • Facilitate user training and maintenance of training materials.
  • Experience of 1st and 2nd line infrastructure support. 
  • Ability to Work seamlessly with others across geographical, functional and cultural boundaries
