Details

 

Cash Collections

  • Collect cash in lines with DSO agreements and contract terms

 

Risk Analysis

  • Coordinate activities with other internal departments to support business development strategies while maintaining visibility and control of credit exposure and risk across Europe

 

Credit  Management

  • Direct and manage the extension of customer lines of credit and the negotiation of payment terms.
  • Deliver Service level agreements on credit & collection to the KPI’s required by internal customers.
  • Source and consolidate customer credit information, analyse customer credit worthiness and either make approval decisions (within agreed authority levels) or make recommendations for credit limits and conditions
  • Undertake regular review of customer credit limits and recommend adjustments where appropriate
  • Make credit insurance applications after obtaining required credit information and references
  • Control and monitor any customers who get severely overdue and put in place any approved rescheduling.

• Technical Credit & Collections  knowledge

• Finance background

• Relative experience in international factoring or credit insurance would be a distinct advantage.

• Experience in international payment and security structures, such as bank + corporate guarantees, letters of credit, documentary collection, credit insurance, etc.

 

• Ability to handle multiple demands and adhere to deadlines

• Strong attention to detail.

• Able to motivate and coordinate the activities of others.

• Ability to deliver change and continuous improvement in a fast paced environment.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Time management and organisational skills

• Interpersonal communication skills
