Currently we are recruiting for a Paralegal to work in our Crawley office on a permanent basis. In this role you will assist the legal team with all company secretarial and corporate governance issues, intermediate review of legal contracts, ensure policies and procedures are complied with and undertake ad hoc legal research. This role will potentially lead to a training contract for the right candidate.

 

The main responsibilities of the role will include assisting in overseeing the handling of industrial disease and accident claims, ensuring that the company’s policies and procedures relating to contracting, including the required approval authorities, are complied with, and drafting and proofreading, including drafting legal agreements, most notably confidentiality and sponsorship agreements, proof-reading documents and letter writing. The post will also involve the review and preparation of summaries of contracts as well as assisting with other adhoc Legal & Commercial activities as required.

 

Applicants should be degree qualified in a relevant discipline and possess commercial legal knowledge and excellent research skills. Knowledge of corporate governance would also be beneficial for the role.
