The Communication Lead is the owner of Public Relations and Dealer Communication channels to ensure a) maximum visibility and positive brand picture of Bobcat and Doosan Portable Power and in industry media; b) dealer network is inspired for continuous business improvement and informed with all relevant updates.

  • Drive PR strategy within Industry media, generate valuable PR content
  • Act as a company spokesperson at various occasions
  • Plan and coordinate advertising in industry media
  • Manage the network of EMEA PR agencies
  • Generate meaningful, educational content that drives dealer performance, loyalty and response
  • Develop and foster critical relationships with cross functional teams to develop content suited to the media and dealer audiences.
  • Lead & Manage dealers communication channels such as Enews

Role & Responsibility

PR Strategy Development and Execution

  • Manage development and execution of PR strategy, involving all necessary stakeholders. Proactively driving a pipeline for communications from product launches throught job stories up to newly deveped ad hoc topics.
  • Managing EMEA agency network to ensure maximum coverage and ROI

Yearly Media Planning

  • Manage yearly media planning with focus on print media based on the agreed budget allocation – close cooperation with Creative Specialist to ensure brand consistency.
  • Making sure the investment has a secondary value in terms of PR cooperation / coverage

Dealer Communication Strategic Planning/ Content Execution

  • Lead strategic planning and execution of dealer communication to ensure efforts are timely, accurate, valuable and align with annual marketing campaigns.
  • Manage execution of communication for dealers – with focus on eNews (dealer newsletter)
  • Develop and foster critical relationships with cross functional teams to understand ongoing content needs and develop content suited to the dealer audiences.
  • Lead content development for eNews and other communication efforts – making sure there is a synergy for dealer and media audience.

Supplier Management and Development

  • Impose KPI’s on suppliers,
  • Identify and implement improvements,
  • Consolidate or identify new suppliers, work closely with procurement.


  • Responsible for budget calculations, management and control of all above

Job Requirement

  • Marketing - Bachelor’s Degree - Allow Equivalent
  • Decision maker
  • Ability to execute strategic plans
  • Ability to satisfy both internal and external customer requirements.
  • Managing multiple projects in a highly organized and disciplined manner.
  • Demonstrate ability to achieve results through direct reports
  • Seek, adopt and utilize new communication channels
  • Demonstrate ability to maintain excellent vendor relations.
  • Expertise in managing media relations


Position that requires high flexibility – willingness to travel & work out of regular hours at events / fairs.

Capability of handling several equally important projects at the same time in different locations.

Capability to work with different cultures.

Working against deadlines and within budgets.

Strong negotiations skills.
