Job Information

The Certified Pre-owned Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive and innovative Certified Pre-owned program impacting positively the residual value. The program should include among others;

  1. The development of the criteria and check list that will differentiate the certifiable versus non certifiable units
  2. The dealer standards to comply with to qualify a dealer for endorsing the program and the control process of standards implementation (with CD) 
  3. The certified dealer contract development.
  4. Specific add on’s on the program to secure attractiveness and positive impact on Residual value (manufacturer backed warranty,maintenance offer, parts discounts, trust boost etc…) 
  5. The implementation of the new program in the Bobcat dealer Network.  

He/She will work hand in hand with Marketing (promotion of the program), Bobcat institute ( dealer education on pgm), Market intelligence, DIFS,field AMPS and completes Sales 

Role & Responsibility

Program Content Development

  • Develop the Check list and criteria that qualify a used complete to enter the program 
  • Define the Offer advantages for the end customers (dealer warranty coverage conditions, …), parts adjusted pricing,…)…and for the dealers (RV boost,higher rotation,…

Dealer Standards

  • Define, communicate, translated in contract, and secure implementation of the dealer standards ( Specific corporate Id, use of valuation tools, communication such as websites formats, maintenance & update , use of corporate communication material , separate and well defined display area with program specific identification,…)  
  • Potential development of audit process

 

Dealer Education

  • Demonstrate to dealers the financial benefit of actively taking in trades and managing a used equipment business
  • Provide coaching to dealers for their used equipment and remarketing activities in the frame of the Certified pre-owned program implementation 
  • Create with Bobcat Institute the Used Equipment and Remarketing University courses to educate dealers

 

Marketing & Promotion

  • Develop tools with Marketing team to assist dealers in their own remarketing activities. For items such as Point of Sales material, used web portal, sharing of best promotional practices, used equipment warranty package and so on

 

Internal coordination

  • Lead and assist DBFS in the discussion and negotiation with lenders of Residual Values structure & settings. 
  • Support marketing / DBFS intelligence in their monitoring of residual values from competition

 

Performance monitoring development and management

  • Define, measure and monitor the KPIs to track program’s effectiveness 
  • Advise the participating dealers on potential actions of growth and sustainability

 

Job Requirement

  • Eduction: Engieneer or Equivalent
  • Experience: 7+ years
  • > 3 years in leading similar project ( car,Ag,Truck or construction equipment)
  • Dealer network experience
  • AMPS experience and exposure to marketing is a plus
  • Previous and demonstrated experience in having led a similar project in the car or agriculture or trucks business at OEM level is an absolute must , prerequisite to qualify for a first interview 
  • Strong business & technical acumen 
  • Strong networking skills with established networks / relationships.
  • Ability to gain quickly a Strong product knowledge of construction equipment 
  • Minimum two languages spoken, prefferrably three or more spoken 
  • Demonstrated strong collaboration skills 
  • Demonstrated strong persuasion skills 
  • Ability to identify the root cause of pending issues and develop strategic options to solve them.
  • good presentation skills 
  • Global Breadth: Multi-Country
  • Travel Standard: 20-25%
