Product Support Representative Inside

Job Information

As a Product Support Representative (Inside), you will provide product, technical support, and training for company forklift trucks. Responsible for providing support for field service team members and providing product technical support to all customers of all company products.

Role & Responsibility

• Provide product support for company manufactured forklifts 
• Support internal departments with service-related inquiries or projects.
• Support the training department during training classes, coordination of events for pre-planning of training and training day logistics  
• Enter all relevant calls into the Service Call Center database management system
• Must file weekly reports detailing activities to the manager of product support and warranty
• Review all high dollar warranty claims with warranty department
• Provide updated technical information to technicians requesting assistance
• Field inquires and inbound calls into the Service Call Center and delegate to the appropriate internal partners or field person
• Field inquires from external customers

Job Requirement

• Education Requirement: High School Diploma (or GED or High School education equivalent); or 5<10 years related experience and/or training in Lift Trucks; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience Required: Travel as needed to support dealers (up to 10%) / Travel may be with or without advanced notice.
• Knowledge and Skills- Language Skills-Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Mathematical Skills-Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
• Reasoning Ability-Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
