The Aftermarket Sales Support Supervisor leads the teams of Parts Technology Advisors and Regional Aftermarket Sales Managers, ensuring that policies and processes are in place to help dealers provide best in class parts support. This position is responsible for maintaining good relationships between the company and our dealers.  

The Aftermarket Sales Support Supervisor works with the Doosan support teams in Korea to continuously improve the accuracy of technical information to support Doosan Bobcat dealers in their efforts to provide top quality customer service. This position is also responsible for establishing metrics to assess product support and aftermarket capabilities of the dealer network.

Role & Responsibility

  • Ensure preparation of the annual parts targets for dealers through review of forklift population and prior sales history.
  • Periodic evaluation of dealers’ parts sales results to assist Regional Aftermarket Sales Managers in identifying opportunities for increased top quality customer service.
  • Implement polices conducive to continuous improvement of dealers’ performance regarding parts business (annual returns, order types, etc.) and develop action plans to improve processes and revenues.
  • Plan and provide support or oversight for the scheduled parts portal training webinars.
  • Develop Quick Reference Parts Guides for new forklift models and update existing reference guides as needed to ensure accuracy.
  • Review new forklift models and develop initial stock purchase (ISP) and (RSP) for Material Handling Group and dealers.
  • Provide support for requests regarding forklift conversions including research and quoting.
     

Job Requirement

  • Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Engineering, Manufacturing or related major. 
  • Experience Required: Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Parts and Service environment in automotive, agriculture, material handling or construction equipment, having led teams in these areas.  
  • Ability to understand and process engineering documents and interpret engineering drawings.  
  • Project management experience. 
  • Strong computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Team player; strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Travel Required: 10-24%.
